We supply the phone adapter required to set you up. As seen here your normal phone plugs direct into the phone adapter then the phone adapter connects directly to your home ADSL modem or gateway for Internet.

Easy Hardware Setup

SIP DEVICE SET-UP ( IP PHONES & VOIP PHONE ADAPTER )  

Dear Customer this is the easy way to set –up your VOIP Device in order to work with our System.

After you buy your own device ( IP PHONE or VOIP PHONE ADAPTER ), connect your device onto

your home gateway, or ADSL Router . Use one of the available ETHERNET PORT on your Router ,

using a CAT 5 cable this should come with your phone adapter or your IP phone . DO THE FOLLOWING:  

•  Connect one end of the cable to the router (ADSL)

•  Next connect the other end of the cable to the IP Phone or Voip Phone adapter.

•  Connect the power cable to your Voip Device IP phone/ Voip phone adapter.

•  Connect your Normal Phone hand set to your Voip Phone adapter. In case you have an

IP phone number (4 ) will not apply to you.

•  Now you have managed to connect to the internet but you don't have the dialling tone yet.

Now Pick up your hand set and using your telephone key pad DAIL * * * * # you will hear

the following configuration MENU now key in the following 110# as you see here,

please then listen for the IP ADDRESS write it down you are going to need it shortly.

In this following section you are going to logon onto your device using your computer

and the ( WEB INTERFACE ) to set-up your device to work with our telephone system.

Now Please do the following ,

Since you are already registered with the Kit-tech phone system you should now know all the required details sent to your email ===

USER NAME and PASSWORD Plus Your ACCOUNT Number , therefore it is going to be easy now on.

Now go on your Computer web- interface that is your Internet Explore, then use the following to log onto

Your IP Phone or VOIP Phone adapter. Do type the following http://0.0.0.0 Please replace the 0.0.0.0

with the IP address you wrote down in the previous step above. Press enter now you should see

the web interface for your device. You are doing fine up to now.

Please Fill in the Following.

•  In the PROXY : Fill in == 0.0.0.0 real IP address will be sent to you

•  In the Display : Fill in your user Name as per your account with us

•  In the User ID Fill in your Account number ie 100xxxx this number was given

to you when you signed up with us.

•  In Password: Fill in the Password you created on our system for your account with us.

•  In the Auth : Fill in the account number 100xxx .

•  Now Look for the Preferred CODEC : and in the drop down menu USE ::: G729a.

•  Now you are Done.. SAVE YOUR SETTINGS after this you should have a dialling tone.
